Sirshendu Sengupta is a Digital Supply Chain Manager at Unilever with a passion for learning and contributing to the creation of an automated and smarter ecosystem. With almost a decade of experience in the industry, he has honed his skills through cross-functional experiences and education. Currently, Sirshendu is leading a global logistics digital transformation program at Unilever, aimed at overall process improvement in O2C and logistics. The program has a valuation of 12 million Euros and a potential saving of 15 million Euros in Year-1, across 30 countries, and he is leading a team of 50+ vendors. He is also responsible for the product management of the End-to-End Order Tracking Platform, which is a logistics and O2C innovation that enables proactive decision making and supply chain visibility. This platform has been published on the global Unilever homepage and appreciated by supply chain leadership. Sirshendu is also leading a core digital supply chain innovation team at Unilever, where he has implemented solutions using transportation management, distribution network optimization, and land and ocean tracking using IOT and RPA technologies, resulting in a saving of 5+ million Euros. He is also a mentor for NASSCOM Industry Partnership, where he has mentored 8+ start-ups to collaborate and build solutions across driving safety. Before his current role, Sirshendu was a Management Trainee at Unilever, where he worked in various roles such as sales, factory restructuring, supply chain, marketing, CSR, finance, and international business engagement. He has also worked as a Summer Intern in the Global Information Security Area at Unilever's office in Port Sunlight, UK. Sirshendu holds a Post Graduate Program (PGP) degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur.
