Sirushti Murugesan is an experienced Systems Software Engineer with a focus on developing highly scalable systems for cloud-based platforms. Currently working at Hewlett Packard, she is one of the top contributors to the Open Source OpenStack Orchestration (Heat) project upstream. Her contributions include rewriting the internal service to be more robust and scalable, and porting services to Python 3 from Python 2, which set an example for other projects in the community to follow. Her efforts have led to the contribution of more than 100 code commits within a single release, making her a top contributor.
