Sitaram Akella is a highly skilled software engineer with over 12 years of experience in data engineering. He is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft IDC, where he is involved in developing modules that empower the Data-Platform. Sitaram has been working on Azure stack (Big Data) of technologies for the past 4 years in Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, he has worked on Big Data cloud flavors like AWS, IBM Big-Insights. Sitaram has extensive experience in building Batch/Streaming Big-Data pipelines using Data bricks, Spark, Scala, PySpark, Python, Kafka, Azure Streaming, ADF, Airflow, and other technologies. He has also developed end-to-end data warehouses (ETL, ELT) using IBM Data Stage, Informatica, Talend, ODI, and other tools. He is proficient in interacting with Distributed Systems, Relational and No-SQL Databases, Cloud computing, and other technologies. In addition to his technical expertise, Sitaram is skilled in preparing reports using Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE, and other reporting tools. He has worked with several companies in the past, including Citrix and IBM, where he held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and IT Specialist, respectively. Sitaram holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Govt Autonomous College Rajahmundry. He also has an Intermediate degree in MPC from Aditya Junior College Rajahmundry and an SSC degree from Govt High School, Korukonda.
