Siva Kannan is an experienced software engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as an SDE2 at dp world. Siva has a strong background in Javascript, ES6, Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, Gatsby, Webpack, and Grunt. He is passionate about creating high-quality software solutions and has a proven track record of delivering successful projects. In his previous role at embibe, Siva was responsible for completely redesigning the software to the Embibe design system and successfully relaunching it under the Embibe brand name. He was also solely responsible for mirroring some of the complex question types to the Embibe student portal. Siva was part of a team that helped design the practice and test module for the Web, TV, Mobile, Tab. Their mobile app was awarded #1 in Apps for personal growth in Google play 2021. Before embibe, Siva worked at eDreams, where he provided thoughtfully created content mapped questions to CBSC, ISCS school students across India through their software. He was one of the stakeholders in the content creation portal, which had features such as question creation, test creation, etc. Siva also created a test creation module for teachers, which successfully became another cross-selling product of Funtoot called ( Funtoot Dexa ). He was responsible for creating and delivering multiple content plugins and converting content plugins to multiple languages to provide content to multiple state governments. Siva also worked at Indo as a software developer, where he took ownership of the user interface and user experience part of multiple Japanese projects and successfully delivered during his tenure. As part of quality control of the software, he was responsible for creating test cases and test report generation. Siva created a unique multilingual (Japanese & English) Lead Management System Product. Siva holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. He is a skilled software engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
