Siva Shanmugam is a highly experienced Product Management executive with over 24 years of experience in building cloud services and products for the enterprise, developer, and consumer markets. He has a proven track record of success in driving product strategy and revenue growth, as well as building and managing teams to execute on design, development, and testing of software. Currently, Siva is serving as the Principal Group Product Manager at Microsoft, where he is responsible for the product roadmap, global adoption, and GTM strategies/planning for various products. He has contributed significantly to the success of various products in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams, including building a core Office 365 Groups Platform, end-user facing products like StaffHub, and building the Data and Intelligence Platform that powers Microsoft Graph, Actionable Messages, and Graph Connectors and Workplace Search. Siva's specialties include product management, product ideation, business strategy, vision and roadmap, SaaS, application development for e-commerce and B2B systems, development and testing of n-tier systems, highly scalable infrastructure architecture and development, people management, and business analysis. Prior to joining Microsoft, Siva worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel and as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Comsys. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the College of Engineering. Siva's technical expertise includes product management, search, test, integration, software engineering, infra, and senior software engineering.
