Sivaram Dhakshinamoorthy is a fourth-year undergraduate at IIT Kharagpur, majoring in Mathematics and Computing. He is currently working as a Student Software Developer at Summer of Bitcoin. Sivaram is passionate about cryptography and its applications to Bitcoin and is always eager to learn more. He enjoys discussing math, Bitcoin, cryptography, and open-source in general. Sivaram is a motivated individual who is always willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills. Sivaram has had extensive experience working with Bitcoin and has contributed significantly to the Summer of Bitcoin internship program. He was selected as one of the top 51 students out of 4800+ candidates for the program and has worked on improving the test coverage for the chacha20 stream cipher for Bitcoin Core. He has also created a CSV formatted benchmark output option for libsecp256k1. Sivaram has continued his work on libsecp256k1 as an Independent Contractor at Chaincode Labs, where he has added a help option for internal benchmarks, documented and validated assumptions of field element API, and reviewed libsecp256k1's implementation of Musig, Musig2, Schnorr signatures, and SHA256. Sivaram's education background includes an Integrated MSc in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Kharagpur, where he is expected to graduate in 2023. He has also attended Maharishi International Residential School and RMK Residential School. Sivaram's technical skills include Bitcoin, Software Engineering, and testing.
