Smita Solanki is a Modem Systems Engineer with over 2 years of experience in physical layer LTE/LTE-A modem software development. Currently working at MediaTek, she possesses a deep understanding of 3GPP requirements for 4G/5G, especially RAN1 & Multimode aspects, and implementation of new requirements of LTE-A in existing design. Smita has had a diverse career path, having worked in various roles across industries. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Research Scientist at Sameer, where she was responsible for EMI/EMC Design and testing, RF measurements, and Electrical safety and environmental testing. She also worked as an Internship Trainee at Intellvisions Software Limited, where she gained exposure to various software engineering concepts. With a relevant experience of 9.37 years, Smita is skilled in test, research, and software engineering. Her experience has equipped her with a strong technical skill set, which includes EMI/EMC design and testing, RF measurements, and electrical safety and environmental testing, among others.
