Smiti Tripathy is an experienced Embedded Engineer at Symbionic with a strong background in biomedical engineering. With a focus on developing cutting-edge medical devices, Smiti has worked on a variety of projects throughout her career, including TENS devices for therapeutic pain relief and nanotechnology-based dry EMG electrodes. As a former Bio-electronics Intern at Ashva, Smiti was responsible for developing and simulating circuit designs using Multisim software, performing breadboard simulations of finalized designs, and designing miniaturized PCBs. She also gained experience troubleshooting PCBs and worked on the development and fabrication of nanotechnology-based dry EMG electrodes. Smiti's education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Medical Imaging and Data Processing from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, which she is expected to complete in 2023. In addition to her technical skills, Smiti is a Core Committee Member at Tec Vit, where she has gained experience in project management, leadership, and team collaboration.
