Smruti Ranjan Moharana is a seasoned software engineer, technical lead, and engineering manager with over 16 years of experience in the cyber security domain. He is currently working as an engineering manager at Trellix, where he is responsible for leading product releases, customer escalations, and enhancing and sustaining the product. Smruti has extensive experience in endpoint security, networking, and LTE. Smruti has a strong engineering background and is skilled in programming languages such as C and C++ on Linux OS. He has worked on product development from scratch and has experience in enhancing and sustaining products. Smruti is also proficient in using development tools such as GIT, GDB, Crash, JIRA, Bugzilla, and Scrum, and platforms such as Linux (Ubuntu, SLES, RHEL). Prior to his current role, Smruti worked as an engineering manager at McAfee, where he built a core team from scratch and led them to become a high-performing team to drive endpoint Linux product releases. He also worked as a lead software engineer at HCL, where he worked on the development of wireless communication 3G UMTS GGSN and 4G LTE PDN gateway session management for Cisco. Smruti holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Utkal University. He is a senior software engineer and a software engineer with relevant experience of 18.21 years.
