Snehashis Haldar is a Firmware Engineer II at Medtronic with over 9 years of experience in the field of engineering. He is passionate about converting the laws of physics and mathematical equations to the digital world to solve real-time system problems by means of the computing system embedded in them. Snehashis has extensive experience in firmware development for complex medical devices, CPLD/FPGA design, and software-in-loop testing. He has worked on the firmware for the charging system of electric tractors and has done various concept developments for physics-based system modeling. In his past roles at Bosch, Snehashis developed firmware for various electromechanical actuators and sensors in the intake air path of diesel and gasoline passenger and commercial vehicle segments. He also developed automotive embedded software using MATLAB/Simulink and ETAS ASCET and has well-established expertise in MISRA-C: 2004 and MISRA-C: 2012. Snehashis has shown strong debugging skills to solve field issues for complex actuator systems for well-known OEMs. He holds a Master of Technology degree in Embedded Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology. Snehashis is proficient in various technical skills, including test and software engineering, and is always eager to learn new technologies.
