Snehasish Das is a highly skilled Technical Lead with over 8 years of experience in the Automotive Infotainment industry. Currently, he works as a Senior Software Engineer at APTIV, specializing in wireless connectivity domain (Bluetooth) for Automotive Infotainment. He has a deep understanding of Bluetooth technology and has hands-on experience in developing firmware and applications for Bluetooth consumer products. In his previous role as a Senior Engineer at Mindtree, Snehasish was responsible for developing middleware services and background services to communicate with client-specific online portals, download released software, and perform complete software updates for different components in the client's proprietary board. He also developed extended functionality based on TFTP protocol to perform software updates for multiple TVs at a time from a centralized server through client proprietary production tools to provide support in the factory production line. Snehasish has also written JNI code and android background services for integrating client's legacy libraries to communicate with mobile remote and support remote functionalities. Snehasish has hands-on experience in different CI/CD tools like Git, Gerrit, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and bug tracking tools like JIRA. He has also implemented various thrift handles to enable production testing in the factory and support for service tools. He has worked with integration teams and has been responsible for configuring different jobs in Jenkins for continuous integration, validation, static analysis of new codes, and uploading builds to different FTP servers. He has also created multiple branches and maintained them for different software release versions and released software to the testing team every sprint end for verification and perform test-cycle. Snehasish holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2014. He also completed his Higher Secondary education in Science from Jalpaiguri Zilla School in 2009.
