Snigdha K. is a passionate Linguistics Graduate student with a keen interest in languages, culture, and Artificial Intelligence. She is currently an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington, where she is pursuing her Master of Science in Computational Linguistics. Snigdha is a dedicated and analytical individual who is always eager to learn and collaborate. She has a particular interest in Second Language Acquisition & Bilingualism and Language technologies, which she hopes to explore further in her career. With 0.43 years of relevant experience, Snigdha has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Dell and as part of the AI UK Data Study Group at The Alan Turing Institute. Her experience has given her a solid foundation in AI, and she is always looking for opportunities to apply her skills in new and exciting ways. As a JBNSTS Jr. Scholar and a Linguaphile, Snigdha has a deep appreciation for the power of language and its ability to connect people from different cultures. She is committed to doing her part for the world and is actively seeking summer 2023 internships that will allow her to contribute to meaningful projects. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Snigdha enjoys exploring new languages and cultures.
