Prior to joining Stripe, Sodhi worked as a Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP and as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where he was part of the India Payments team focused on the gift card business on Amazon.in. During his time at Amazon, Sodhi designed and implemented a backend system for buy-now-load-later gift cards and developed a queuing engine for bulk gift card issuance jobs, which eradicated the manual work involved and increased throughput by 300%. Sodhi's career has exposed him to a variety of programming languages and technologies, including Python, C++, Java, Kafka, SQL/No-SQL DBs, and more. He is always eager to learn and use the right tools for the job. Sodhi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a High School Diploma from Apeejay School.
