Soham Chakraborty is a Senior UX Designer with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is an ambitious individual who values quality and discipline in his work. He is always open to learning and practicing good design principles, and strives to up-skill himself in relevant product/technologies to build a successful career. Soham holds a postgraduate degree in Product Design & Manufacturing from IISc, Bangalore and an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He started his career as a freelance Graphic designer and submitted his works at Envato Graphicriver. Apart from his professional work, Soham has hobbies such as Graphic Designing, Landscape Photography, DIY Electronics, and product sketching. He is also a Tech enthusiast who keeps himself up-to-date with the latest technology news around the world. Currently, Soham works as a Senior UX Designer at Myntra. Prior to this, he worked as a User Experience Designer at MathWorks, where he was responsible for designing hardware setup, onboarding and setup flows, and updated UI for Simulink generated Android apps. He also helped product teams identify opportunities to design and display dashboards on Linux hardware. Soham has also worked as a Design Engineering Intern at the Society for Innovation and Development, IISc. Soham's education history includes a Masters in Design from the Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing, Indian Institute of Science, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. He completed his schooling from Holy Home, Serampore, where he obtained ICSE(10), ISC(10+2) degrees in PCM + Biology. Soham's tech stack includes designer, product designer, Android, and UI.
