Soham Mondal is an AWS Certified Developer with over 6 years of experience in DevOps and Web Development. He has been involved in several Projects and POCs, with hands-on experience in numerous industry-accepted tools and technologies. Soham firmly believes that quality education is the key to the country's development, and he educates neighborhood kids on subjects like Mathematics and Computer Science on weekends. Soham is a Software Engineer at openhouse, where he primarily works on the frontend development and operations side of Oh Meets product (video calling web app). His roles and responsibilities include setting up the dockerized CI/CD using GitLab, development, ownership, and maintenance of features like real-time Quiz, Avatars, Gestures, Talk-time Monitor, performance improvement of the overall application, code reviews, and mentoring of new joiners on the team. He is proficient in using React, Redux, WebSockets, GitLab, and GitLab CICD. Soham has previously worked at Cerner and TCS as a Software Engineer and System Engineer, respectively. At Cerner, he has worked on two major projects, Issue Tracker Dashboard, and Release from Jenkins. While working in an Agile (Scrum) environment, he led product demo sessions in every sprint meeting. At TCS, he was part of the Cloud and automation Research & Innovations team and worked on three major projects, Aqua Vista Portal, Golden AMI, and Automated Server Provisioning. Soham has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Techno India College of Technology. He has also completed his Higher Secondary from Techno Model School and WBSE from South Point High School, Kolkata. Soham is proficient in several technologies, including AWS, CI/CD, Javascript, Typescript, Web, Frontend, Redux, Jenkins, DevOps, MongoDB, Python, ReactJS, Ansible, Terraform, Research Scientist, Azure, and infra. Apart from his work, Soham is a gadget freak and binge-watcher of TV series. He is a big foodie by heart and loves to taste different cuisines.
