Soham Sharma is an experienced AWS-SAA certified scalable backend developer with a passion for architecting solutions with Amazon Web Services. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing various projects from scratch using scalable backend technologies. Soham is highly skilled in ensuring all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment. With a strong background in scripting in Node.js, monitoring, and troubleshooting, Soham is responsible for handling tickets across different priority levels as part of the global product support. He provides support while debugging and fixing client issues and concerns. Soham has excellent communication skills, making him effective in communicating with a variety of stakeholders and verticals. Currently, Soham is a PS Engineer - Level 1 at Meltwater, where he extensively works with AWS, developing and deploying internal tools for product support. He played a key role in the development of the "JSM Ticket Escalation Tool" for the internal use of the organization. Soham majorly handled the end-to-end deployment of the tool using Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Route 53, and ACM. He has also developed various bots integrating JIRA and Slack for better process management using time-sensitive cron jobs hosted on Elastic Beanstalk. In addition, Soham created automation tools for code generation of newsletters, which is a key product for clients. He also created a repository for frequently accessed newsletters, saving heaps of time. Soham managed RSS feed generators for enhancing the ingest of sources. Soham holds a Master's Degree in IoT from Christ University, Bangalore, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has a strong tech stack that includes AWS, Backend, NodeJS, Javascript, and Web.
