Somashekar M is a highly skilled Application Software Developer currently working at Ola, where he is involved in the development of Battery Management System (BMS) Model-Based Design (MBD). With a relevant experience of 1.28 years in the industry, Somashekar is passionate about transforming the world one vehicle at a time. Prior to his current role, Somashekar worked as a Student Intern at Electrono Solutions. During his tenure, he worked on various industry projects such as Remote Labs, Software Defined Radio on GNU Radio and LabVIEW, a simple BMS for the grid, and the MiCOM P127 relay using Modbus communication and RS485 protocol for the MicroGrid project, among others. He also worked on interfacing Sensory data using Daqmx toolkit LabVIEW and on ATV 310 VFD using RJ 45 protocol using LabVIEW for a part of wind time profiling. He is highly proficient in software engineering, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, AI, ML, computer vision, NLP, Spark, and neural networks. Somashekar completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, in 2022. He also holds a Pre-University degree in Computer Science from Narayana PU College, which he completed in 2018.
