Somayeh holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego - Jacobs School of Engineering, where she also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher. In addition to her Master's degree, Somayeh also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
