Somshekar Yadlapur is an experienced engineer with a strong background in the telecommunications industry. Currently working as a Senior Architect at Radisys India Pvt Ltd, he specializes in 5G NR SA/NSA, LTE, 3G, and C. With over 15 years of relevant experience, he has a demonstrated history of working on various projects related to 5G NSA/SA mmWave E2E gNB System integration, LTE, LTE-A, CAT-M1, and MAC scheduler. Somshekar has worked with several companies in the past, including Mindtree Wireless Pvt Ltd and Kyocera Wireless Pvt Ltd. At Mindtree Wireless Pvt Ltd, he was a part of the LTE L2 Mac team and was involved in the complete L2 Mac layer design and development. He also worked on the Mac scheduler, Mac Phy, and Mac RRC interface design team. At Kyocera Wireless Pvt Ltd, he was a part of the LTE L2 Mac team and was involved in scheduler development and the scheduler Mac interface development team. He has also visited Japan as a part of his work. Somshekar has completed his BE in Electronic and Communication from KBN College of Engineering, Gulbarga (VTU, Belgaum). He also holds a degree in ECE from the same college. He completed his schooling from JSVK Chanenahalli Bangalore. In addition to his technical skills, Somshekar is also skilled in senior software engineering, Kubernetes, integration, and test. He is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about his work and always eager to learn new things.
