Somu Prajapati is a Senior UG majoring in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He is a full-stack developer and AI enthusiast with a keen interest in recommender systems and production ML. Currently working as an AI Advisor at T0uch, Somu is responsible for supervising and formulating AI solutions and systems like Recsys, GNN, etc. His experience includes working as an AI Lead Engineer at T0uch, where he solved the core problem of financial independence by creating a world-class AI platform that understands the user via various SOTA NLP techniques and educates them by recommending news, articles, curated podcasts, etc., via collaborative-filtering based RL architecture. He has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Mobileum, where he developed a scalable, standalone, fault-tolerant, and configurable library agnostic inference server that can serve any ML pipeline with no extra code overhead. Somu has a passion for solving problems that challenge his algorithmic skills and is currently exploring recommender systems (reinforcement learning), IoT systems, and the cyber-security of critical infrastructure. He has also worked with Prof. Swaprava Nath to develop a game-theoretic tool called SwaGrader for unbiased peer-grading and landed a paper in the ACM India Joint International Conference on Data Science & Management of Data, CoDS-COMAD, 2020. Somu's tech stack includes AI, Research Scientist, ML, Reinforcement Learning, Data Scientist, infra, Senior Software Engineer, and NLP. He has 1.70 years of relevant experience and is looking forward to working with people where he can put his skills to use and help society become a better version of itself.
