Somya is an experienced Associate Team Lead in the information technology and services industry. She is a skilled full-stack developer with expertise in Python, Ember.js, and JavaScript (ES6), and has worked with multiple technologies with great ease. Somya is a team player with exceptional communication skills, sound debugging, and analytical skills, and has experience working with Scrum-based agile mode of working. Somya is currently working as a Development Team Lead at Nagarro, where she uses technologies such as Python, sklearn, AWS, Angular, Postgres SQL, Flask, and SQL Alchemy. As the lead of the Application Development team, she is responsible for active development along with client handling and team mentorship. As the application is live, she is also responsible for fixing production issues with minimum turnaround time and deployment/release activities. Prior to Nagarro, Somya worked as a System Engineer at IBM, where she contributed to various projects such as ExxonMobil, IfundIt, and Apollo-DKV. She worked on end-to-end delivery of the projects, including requirement gathering and analysis, DB design, UI development, back-end development and integration with the front end, deployment on the WAS, and bug fixing. Somya was also responsible for providing value additions and dealing with minor enhancements (proposing and delivering enhancements) plus bug fixing. Somya has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Banasthali University. She also has an internship experience at Calypto Design Systems. Somya's tech stack includes SQL, Java, Mobile, JavaScript, AWS, Scikit, UI, Flask, Postgres, Python, MongoDB, Integration, Frontend, Ember.js, and AngularJS.
