Sonal Kushwaha is a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft, with a passion for exploring different areas of technology. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Information Technology and has a strong background in software development engineering. Sonal is a Google WTEF Scholar and MLH Fellow, with relevant experience of 0.96 years in the industry. During her internship at Microsoft, Sonal worked in the Cloud & Artificial Intelligence team, where she developed user interfaces using React.js and enhanced the code by refactoring the components and integrating the data into the cloud API. She also developed Azure cloud-based APIs for provisioning using C# and .Net and designed and worked on the architecture design and flow diagrams for a globally used application. As a Google WTEF Scholar, Sonal worked on projects in Python and App Development, participated in weekly contests, and practiced presentation skills. She also led a team of 7 to develop a website for TalentSprint showcasing the top projects developed by WTEF Cohort 2. Additionally, as an MLH Fellow, Sonal collaborated on real-world projects and developed a VS Code extension to group together various developer tools like reminders, GitHub notifications, theme changer, to-do, etc. Sonal is proficient in Software Engineering, ReactJS, JavaScript, and Azure. She has completed her Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology and her Higher Secondary School from St. George's School.
