Sony Kadavan is a seasoned technopreneur and advisor with over 22 years of experience in the software technology industry. He is the founder and CEO of a software technology company that provides end-to-end solutions and advice to businesses, with a focus on cloud-based web and mobile apps supported by IoT and machine learning. With a passion for software and technology, Sony has built and helped build software products in various domains, including video delivery, e-learning, e-commerce, and life science. He has worked in both B2B and B2C settings, and has kept up with the pace of technology shift from embedded systems to cloud, apps, and AI/ML. Sony's career began with various technology startups, where he gained valuable experience working in early-stage and later-stage companies. He then spent six years at Adobe, where he conceived and led the development of consumer e-learning and content delivery products on the cloud. In 2015, Sony left full-time employment to start his entrepreneurial journey, which he continues today through his company's products and services. He also spends a significant amount of time helping other startups as an advisor and mentor, guiding them from ideation to delivery through engineering strength. Currently, Sony serves as the Engineering Advisor/VP at elucidata, where he defines and drives the engineering direction of the flagship product Polly. He is also a co-founder and director of azympto, a company that specializes in modern software technology enablement in the cloud and apps, leveraging IoT and AI/ML. Sony holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. His tech stack includes senior software engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, AWS, mobile and web development, and research science.
