Soorya Annadurai is a highly skilled Developer and Researcher with a passion for creativity and logical reasoning. With a strong interest in various fields such as cryptography, networking, software development, and algorithm design, Soorya works with professionals in many other domains to find solutions to design problems. Currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, Soorya is a Software Development Engineer II at Microsoft, where he is developing Outlook for Windows. He has also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where he worked on Outlook for Windows Desktop. Soorya has also worked as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, where he worked with Professor N. Balakrishnan in the Supercomputer Education and Research Center on the detection of PDF malware and ransomware detection/prevention. Soorya has a strong educational background, having completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He also attended Gear Innovative International School and Aecs Magnolia Maaruti Public School. Soorya's tech stack includes Software Engineering and Research Science, and he has relevant experience of 5.36 years. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and football. Soorya is a natural leader and has taken up leadership initiatives, public speaking events, technological challenges, research opportunities, and work options with faculty members and working professionals to influence the working of the world in a new and innovative way.
