Sophia Lang, MBA is an experienced HR Generalist with a specialization in Talent Acquisition. She is currently working as a Human Resources Generalist I at Tresata, where she is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for all global offices and roles, improving the recruitment process to incorporate automation while prioritizing the candidate experience, and revising and implementing an onboarding process for new hires in the U.S., India, and United Kingdom. Sophia has a passion for learning about others' backgrounds, interests, and aspirations, which makes her an excellent recruiter. She enjoys working her way through tough challenges independently and with a team. Her goal is to continue growing in all things Human Resources and to succeed to the best of her ability. Sophia received her MBA from Appalachian State University, where she specialized in Leading and Managing Human Resources. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University. As a Graduate Assistant at the University Honors College, Sophia developed and designed a student handbook outlining program requirements and helpful resources, provided event management assistance in Honors program recruiting events, and participated as a hiring manager for future GA roles in screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Sophia's past experience includes working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Tresata, where she oversaw Tresata's recruitment efforts and employee engagement, promoted global hiring opportunities at Tresata through online platforms, social media, and other innovative channels, served as the primary contact for applicants, conducted interviews, and worked closely with all functions across Tresata to ensure team hiring needs are met. Sophia is open to new opportunities and loves getting to know new people. She is passionate about improving the recruitment process and incorporating automation while prioritizing the candidate experience.
