Sorel Pop is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working at IES Ltd., Sorel is responsible for developing software solutions that meet the needs of the organization and its clients. With a strong background in C++, SQL, and UI design, Sorel has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions that are both efficient and effective. Prior to joining IES Ltd., Sorel worked as a Software Developer at Novcom Solutions and Cososys. At Novcom Solutions, Sorel was responsible for implementing new features and fixing bugs on a cross-platform software used for electronic exchange of medical documents. Additionally, Sorel designed and implemented new UI components, fixed server-side bugs, and improved existing SQL queries. At Cososys, Sorel ported an application from Visual Studio 2005 and Qt4 to Visual Studio 2015 and Qt 5. Sorel also completely remade the UI for an application, following the designer's notes, and added new features and fixed bugs on a cross-platform USB data encryption application. Sorel holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology from the Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca, where he graduated in 2012.
