Sorin Sbârnea is a seasoned Sr. Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. He currently works at Red Hat as a member of the Ansible DevTools team and is responsible for designing and developing extraordinary software solutions for both technical and non-technical users. Sorin is passionate about technology and believes that it holds the key to solving many of the world's problems. In his current role, Sorin ensures that the TripleO (OpenStack) CI/CD pipelines are working at their full potential and contributes to Zuul CI/CD and other infra related projects. He has also worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at BMLL Technologies Ltd, where he advocated and supported the entire team to adopt a DevOps culture. He designed, implemented and managed a Continuous Integration and Deployment system using Jenkins Pipelines, AWS, and GitHub. Sorin also implemented integration tests using Selenium and BrowserStack and transitioned Python repositories to build proper Python packages using an auto-versioning system. Sorin's educational background is diverse and includes a PhD in Communities and crowd-sourcing, a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cybernetics and Economics, a degree in Management with a focus on Management and Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
