Soudip Karmakar is a talented Data Scientist with a passion for understanding data from different business perspectives. With a strong analytical mindset, he has gained 3.43 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Science and Analytics. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Operation Research, Soudip is exploring the fields of Machine Learning and Statistical Modelling for optimization. Soudip has worked as a Data Science Intern at two companies, alumnus software limited and corvid consulting. At corvid consulting, he prepared image training datasets and built a CNN model using transfer learning, Mobile-Net Version 2.0 architecture, and Soft-max Activation for classification in fully connected layer. At alumnus software limited, he is currently working on a project that involves building predictive models for customer churn. Previously, Soudip worked as a Quantitative Researcher Intern at iragecapital advisory. There, he merged spot and future stock market data with the help of microsecond, millisecond, and nanosecond, prepared datasets for determining how the stock markets move with new information, calculated Information Share and Component Share for determining price discovery using VCEM model, and calculated Price Leadership Share using Multivariate Markov Chain model. Soudip holds a Master of Science in SQC and OR from ISI, where he is currently pursuing his degree and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University. He also attended Nava Nalanda High School. Soudip's technical skills include Data Scientist, Research Scientist, CNN, ML, and Mobile. He is a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for solving complex problems.
