Sougata Chatterjee is a seasoned VP Engineering with over 20 years of experience in Technical Leadership, Software Product Development & Services, Data Science, and Engineering. He currently serves as the Vice President of Technology at Travel Tripper, where he leads the India team and oversees product development and big data analytics for LodgIQ, Inc. Sougata is an expert in building and managing teams of software developers, data scientists, backend engineers, and DevOps professionals, and is known for his entrepreneurial and hands-on approach to technology. Sougata has a great interest in big data, data science, and engineering, and has completed a PG Diploma in Data Science from IIIT-B. He is extensively working on various advanced ML models and frameworks, as well as deep learning. Sougata has architected and delivered LodgIQ ONE, a cloud-based revenue management application for LodgIQ, and has worked on developing, enhancing, and supporting products built on the fundamentals of revenue management in hospitality. Sougata's past experience includes serving as VP Platform Engineering and Country Manager & VP Engineering at LodgIQ, where he was responsible for end-to-end product delivery, including data ingestion and building complex ML models. Sougata has also completed a 1-year Executive Program in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from Regional Computer Centre, Jadavpur University Campus. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics from IIIT Bangalore and a DOEACC 'B' Level certification from the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology.
