Soumajit Sen is a highly motivated individual with a passion for learning about new concepts and technologies to diversify his skill-sets. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Supply Chain Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and is actively seeking summer 2022 internship opportunities. Soumajit is a Tech Analyst at Citi, where he has gained 3.94 years of relevant experience. At Citi, Soumajit has worked on a variety of projects, including designing the User Interface of an application called ‘Law Firm Group’ using Angular 8 for clients and partners from law firms. He reduced the loan disbursement time per client application to less than 2 weeks from 3 weeks with 400+ MTP reduction per deal. Soumajit secured the ‘Platinum Gratitude Award’ for efficient delivery of the project, the most prestigious award at Citi Pune. He also refactored a legacy application called ‘Portal’ to a microservices-based framework using Java and Ext JS. Additionally, he developed an application called Object Storage for storage of files into cloud-based on Amazon Web Services architecture. Prior to joining Citi, Soumajit worked as an Initiative Manager at Trader for Tomorrow, where he designed a 6-month training for stock market trading, thereby receiving a turnout of over 250 applicants from all disciplines. He also worked as a KITES Technical Intern at ITC, where he was one amongst 45 students selected as a part of flagship internship programme KITES for working on real-time projects at ITC. Soumajit was posted in the Chocolate Category of Foods Business Division(FBD) and achieved results working on 2 projects aiming at Quality Control. He received a "Letter of Recommendation" for appreciable work from General Manager(Product & Development). Soumajit's education history includes a Master of Science - MS in Supply Chain Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2021-2022), a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT (2014-2018), a Higher Secondary School from Mahathi Junior College (2012-2014), and a Senior Secondary School from De Paul School (2002-2012).
