Soumalya Saha is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Manhattan Associates and has previously worked at IBM as an Associate System Engineer. Soumalya is proficient in various technical areas including software engineering, testing, SQL, and integration. At IBM, Soumalya provided platform support to Cognos 10, Cognos 11, and TM1 platforms. He completed installation and configuration of Cognos 10 and Cognos 11 Platforms, configured Cognos to work in load-balanced multiple dispatcher and gateway environment, and integrated it with LDAP configuration. He also developed and implemented complex business logic using Cognos Powercubes, completed enhancement projects and migration projects with model development and report development, and migrated dashboards from SAP to Cognos. Soumalya also worked on Oracle procedure daily jobs using Windows Batch script, developed automation scripts for daily tasks, and migrated application scripts from AIX to Windows. Soumalya has extensive experience working with Cognos 10.2.1, Cognos 11, Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer, Event Studio, Dashboard, MotioCI, MotioPI, TM1, and SQL. He has also worked on requirement analysis and preparation of high-level documents for the business/development team, design, coding, peer review of reports, documentation of developmental activities, unit testing the self-prepared report with reference to the existing report to track defects, and deploying the report to the testing team for further examination. Soumalya holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from West Bengal University of Technology. He also completed his 10+2 from Kanailal Vidyamandir and 10 from Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir.
