Soumayajit Hazra is a highly experienced Scrum Master with over 5 years of experience in supporting scrum, facilitating scrum ceremonies, mentoring and coaching the team in several agile aspects. He has a total of 15 years of overall IT industry experience encompassing a wide range of skill set, roles and industry verticals such as retail, banking and telecom. Soumayajit is a Certified Agile coach with experience in mentoring and coaching the team with different agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe and XP and lead them to successful agile transformation. He is proficient in analyzing and translating business requirements to technical requirements and architecture. He has hands-on experience in emerging technologies like Blockchain programming using Solidity and Hardhat. In his current role as a Scrum Master at Royal Dutch Shell, Soumayajit is responsible for leading and managing teams from different geographic locations. He has experience in working under agile environment and tools like Azure DevOps, Rally, JIRA and Confluence. He has a strong SQL skills, Object Oriented Programming in Java and UNIX shell scripting knowledge. Soumayajit has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Scottish Church College, Kolkata and a Master's degree in Computer Programming from JIS College of Engineering. He has also completed various certifications such as PSM II, ICP-ACC and CSM®. Throughout his career, Soumayajit has been analyzing client’s business requirements and processes through document analysis, interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis. He liaises between business and technical personnel to ensure a mutual understanding of processes and applications. He assesses the impact of changes, analyzes and documents requirements and then supports the communication and delivery of those requirements with clients. Overall, Soumayajit has a relevant experience of 16.21 years and has worked with renowned companies such as Amadeus and IBM in the past. He is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for agile methodologies and emerging technologies.
