Soumik Baithalu is an Associate Software Developer at Dürr Group, a SIH (Smart India Hackathon) winner, and an open-source enthusiast with a passion for Python development. He is a computer engineering senior at LNCT, Bhopal, and has a keen interest in building new things and automating tasks. Soumik has led three student clubs at LNCT and worked as a Project Admin at LetGrowMore, an organization that conducts a three-month-long open-source program during summers to help beginners get started with open-source development. Soumik has also contributed to GirlScript Summer of Code, where he ranked 65 across thousands of participants from India and worked primarily on data structures and algorithm, data modeling, and Python development. Soumik has written blogs and articles and strives to be the best at innovating and being creative. During COVID-19, he built a 'Gesture volume' controller and is currently working on a 'Use of Poultry litter as manure with IOT based farm management System,' which has been patented by the Indian Government. Soumik is interested in working in a domain at the intersection of technology and management, where he can apply his varied knowledge, build innovative products, and put his leadership skills to use. Soumik's education background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from LNCT, Bhopal, and he has relevant experience of 1.77 years. He has a strong tech stack that includes Python, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Web Development, JavaScript, and Computer Vision.
