Soumya Ranjan Bohidar is a seasoned System/Software Engineering professional with over 12 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager at General Electric, where he serves as a Service Owner for two Scrum teams based out of HTC. Soumya is responsible for managing over 12 engineers with NPI and RTS work, and he works towards engineering efficiency improvements and exercise lean. Prior to his current role, Soumya worked as a Senior Engineer at General Electric, where he contributed to No-code PaaS based product development - GE Proficy Operations Hub. Soumya has also worked at JP Morgan as a Senior Associate - AVP, where he was a major contributor to Global technology Infrastructure platform for CI-CD Automation adopted across Investment, Controls, Asset Wealth, and Consumer banking technology. He was listed in the top 10 contributors and coded on Python, Groovy, and Cassandra. Soumya led the devops/resiliency team of 7 on modernizing business unit infrastructure and achieved 99.7% resiliency on applications deployed across 3 data-center. He also led the Performance Improvement Team, which focused on improving the business transaction time span across the suite of products. His major contributions were on Digital chase pay transactions - operations improvement.
