Soumya Deepankar is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 2 years of experience in SAP Basis administration/support, implementation and monitoring. He has additional knowledge in REV-Trac transport tool. Currently, he is working with TCS as a Senior Software Development Engineer. Prior to his current role, Soumya has worked with Accenture as a Senior Software Engineer and with HCL as a Software Engineer. He has extensive knowledge in SAP R/3 and has worked on Platforms with Oracle database on UNIX, Windows NT Operating systems. Soumya's expertise lies in monitoring application servers, work processes, and their statuses from time to time. He is proficient in maintaining instances using operation mode and assigning time intervals, monitoring background jobs and their status, and scheduled standard background jobs periodically. He is also skilled in spool and print management, applying notes and support packages for ABAP, transport setup and management, and client administration including client copy/export/import/delete. In addition, Soumya has experience in user management, performing index rebuild and table space extend, adding data files to table spaces, and downloading and applying Support Patches and SAP Notes. He is proficient in analyzing backups online/offline and archive, monitoring jobs in SAP level, and time-based and event-based scheduling of background jobs and monitoring them. Soumya has completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
