Soumya Mandal is a Software Engineer with 3.20 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is working as an SDE II at Harman, where he is responsible for developing multimedia audio stack. Prior to this, he worked at OnePlus as a Multimedia Engineer - SDE-I, where he was involved in audio framework, HAL, and audio drivers. Soumya completed his MTech in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, where he focused on various aspects of computer science. He is a tech enthusiast and has a deep interest in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and support vector machine. In addition to his professional experience, Soumya has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. During his tenure, he worked on individual projects in machine learning domain, including NLP and deep learning. He also worked as a lab assistant in the data structure lab. Soumya has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from RCC Institute of Information Technology. He completed his standard V to XII from Birati High School, where he studied science. Soumya has a strong technical skill set, including proficiency in Python, C, deep learning, NLP, ML, SVM, and Bag of Words. He has a passion for technology and enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and advancements in the field.
