Soumya Parida is a technology enthusiast with over 9 years of experience in Planning, Designing, and Implementation of Infrastructure Onprem & Cloud. He is currently the Head of DevOps at Incred, where he is responsible for Planning DevOps, IT and SRE road map, budget planning and forecast. He is also leading the team to make the most of cloud infra, cost optimization, and bringing in best practices. Soumya has extensive experience in OpenStack, DevOps, AWS, Azure, and many more. He has worked on various projects involving Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible & Ansible tower deployment, and CI/CD using Jenkins. He is proficient in managing artifact using Nexus, SonarQube setup for code quality check, and artifactory scanning for any vulnerabilities. Soumya has also worked on monitoring Kafka, Mongo dB, Elastic Search using Prometheus and Grafana, and building Dashboards using open-source tools like Grafana for JVM/JMX parameter. Soumya has successfully cleared SOC2 audit & GCP Security review by creating multiple policy and process documents. He has managed vendor management, license management, and ensured that the infrastructure is up and running 24*7*365. He has optimized GCP infrastructure and billing per month, improving infrastructure security. Soumya has also managed G-Suite & Okta and security around the same. Before joining Incred, Soumya was the DevOps Manager at Cognizer, where he was responsible for Planning DevOps, IT and SRE road map, budget planning and forecast. He successfully led the team to make the most of cloud infra, cost optimization, and bringing in best practices. He also worked on vulnerability scanning and fixing vulnerabilities found, standardizing infrastructure, process, and build or release process to meet audit/compliance standards. Soumya has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from the Icfai University, Tripura. He is proficient in DevOps, infra, Ansible, GCP, AWS, SRE, test, Docker, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Kafka, Jenkins, Search, Web, SQL, Azure, Senior Software Engineer, Mobile, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
