Soumya Yelamali is a highly skilled Senior Software Developer and SRE with over 6 years of experience in the field. Currently working at Intuit India, she has taken ownership of a new service and onboarded new engineers to the team. She has mentored team members in understanding the service requirements, deployments, perf testing, feature development, and designed and implemented a critical generic search API. Soumya has also designed and implemented an end-to-end webhook API to read data from GitHub post webhook, parse the data and store it in registry database to support automated pipeline creation in IKS environment. She has onboarded the service to use Karate functional test which covered 70% of the overall service APIs. In her previous role at Intuit, Soumya worked on various projects including Document Extraction Self Serve, Data Extraction Analysis Tool, OCRFallback, Migrate DES Console to AWS, and HealthCheck, Info, and Version API’s for DES Nextgen. She implemented tax documents extraction as a self-serve capability to reduce onboarding time from 30 days to 5 days using SpringBoot, Vertx, Flink, and Beam. She also implemented a python-based tool used for analyzing the accuracy and extraction success rate of different image and pdf extraction engines, ML Algorithms. Soumya has vast experience in AWS, SRE, and Spring Boot, and has worked with various technologies including Python, Search, ReactJS, Java, and infra. Soumya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from pes and has completed her 12th from EXPERT PRE-UNIVERSITY SCIENCE COLLEGE and 10th from SRI RAJESHWARI VIDHYANIKETAN.
