Souparna Seth is a Senior SDE at Visa with a passion for programming and a keen interest in Machine Learning and Data Science. He graduated from NIT Durgapur with a CGPA of 8.88 in Computer Science and Engineering in 2019. Souparna has experience working as an ETL developer at Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks, where he created data-driven workflows for orchestrating data movement and transforming data at scale. He has also created several APIs in C# that were used throughout the site and written Stored Procedures in SQL Server Management Studio to provide backend logic to various features. In addition to his technical skills, Souparna has also been given many leadership opportunities, such as ownership of QA and maintaining team hygiene on Azure DevOps. He has reviewed code to accelerate and streamline the process of software development and has owned complete features from gathering requirements to handling deployment to production. During his time at Wipro, Souparna created a telecom chatbot using Angular CLI for frontend and Dialogflow for NLP backend. He also implemented small talk and other NLP features and an OAuth system in the bot using Google Firebase. Souparna is a quick learner and has experience in a range of technologies, including Azure, SQL, Android, NLP, Databricks, CI/CD, Redis, and more. He is a life-long learner and is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills. With 4.20 years of relevant experience, Souparna is a valuable addition to any team.
