Souptik Chatterjee is an accomplished entrepreneur, software architect, and full-stack developer with over 6 years of professional experience in web and mobile application development. He is an alumnus of NIT-C and has co-founded and built 5 startups from scratch in Bangalore. Souptik has an intense hands-on knowledge and experience on development planning and product building in various fields such as healthcare, fin-tech, B-2-B, e-commerce, food-tech, social media, data analytics, artificial intelligence, vendor marketplace, and many more. Souptik has built 20+ products from scratch and is actively involved in mentoring various upcoming startups and providing guidance to young developers to achieve expertise in the field of web and mobile application development. He has mainly worked on MEAN Stack (Mongo, Express, Angular, and Node.js) for web development and on Ionic Framework for hybrid mobile applications development. He also has great expertise in hosting said applications on AWS and Azure. Souptik has worked on AWS for building CI/CD pipelines, working on cron-jobs using AWS Lamdas & AWS Cloudwatch and has built high-speed search-optimized applications using AWS Elastic Search. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer at tradesun®, inc., where he is building a finance cloud platform that powers the quick processing of trade finance contracts while simultaneously intercepting regulatory and fraudulent infractions. In his past roles, Souptik has worked as a Senior Software Engineer - UI Lead Developer at India Urban Data Exchange, where he was in charge of planning and executing a website for 100 Smart Cities aimed at catalyzing investments in holistic infrastructure and services. He has also worked as a Lead Application Developer at Convergytics Solutions, where he created a platform to manage all raw materials, final products, quotes and user management for the company to handle its clients easily through a web application and mobile app as well. Souptik holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Calicut. He is proficient in a wide range of tech stacks, including AWS, software engineering, web, Javascript, NLP, mobile, UI, NodeJS, search, AngularJS, MongoDB, deep learning, CI/CD, Elastic Search, Azure, and infra.
