Sourabh Singh Tomar is an experienced C++ software engineer with a special interest in system software, particularly compilers, linkers, and debuggers. He is passionate about open-source and enjoys working close to the metal, specifically CPU toolchains. Sourabh has contributed to large software systems such as LLVM and is known for creating clean and maintainable code. Currently, Sourabh works as a Compiler Engineer at Qualcomm, where he is involved in various aspects of CLANG/LLVM based tool-chains. He also explores the Linux kernel in his leisure time and has worked on several Embedded/Linux projects. Sourabh has worked for AMD in the past, where he was part of the compiler team working on C/C++/Fortran compilers. His contributions and responsibilities included analysis, coding, reviewing, and maintenance. He developed and up-streamed DWARFv5 feature-specific DebugInfo to LLVM and several crucial Fortran specific DebugInfo for Flang compiler. He also reviewed community code. Sourabh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Embedded System Design from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna.
