Sourabh Das is a seasoned Embedded Security researcher with expertise in ARM Trustzone Hardware & Software Architecture, Trusted Execution Environment, TEE, Global Platform, Secure Monitor Call, SMC, ARMv8 EL3, Kernel Hardening & Kernel Security, Cryptography & Key Management, Secure Storages & RPMB, IOC side security, Linux Platform - dm-crypt & dm-verity, Secure Boot & Boot time optimization / initramfs optimization, OPENSSL engine, and IOC side security. Currently, Sourabh is working as an Embedded System trainee at Vector India, where he is learning C programming and compilers, Data Structures, System Programming in Linux, Microcontroller 8051, Networking and TCPIP concepts and Socket Programming, and Object-Oriented Programming Concept using C++. Sourabh has previously worked as a Software Engineer at VVDN, where he worked on the development of Board Support Packages on various platforms, u-boot and kernel Device Trees, board bringup, boot time optimization on u-boot, kernel and filesystem, adding support for some non-existing platform in Yocto build system, and system side in developing multi-threaded applications. He has also worked as a Software Engineer II at Harman, where he is currently working in Embedded Securities on various programs, such as Initramfs optimization for boot performance, DM-Crypt and DM-Verity, developing Trusted Applications for various secure operations like cryptography and storages, and contributing to the development of OPTEE based Trusted OS - HARTOS (Harman Trusted OS). Sourabh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from llriet, Moga. He has also completed his Senior Secondary education from Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School, Ranchi, and his primary education from Millia Convent English School, Purnea. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Sourabh is a Software Engineer and Research Scientist who is passionate about embedded security research and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
