Currently, Sourabh is working as an Engineering Manager at Protonn, where he has launched two global iOS apps from scratch in just three months and extended the same app codebase to support different versions, including India, Enterprise, Video app, and SDK. Sourabh has a proven track record of hiring engineers and keeping a mix of contractors to deliver the product. He is also mentoring new folks in the team to onboard them on mobile (Android and iOS). Sourabh strongly believes in grooming people and sharing a large vision with them. He has a no QA culture and believes that developers are the owners of developing/releasing and making sure the build is stable. Before joining Protonn, Sourabh worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Swiggy, where he was responsible for hiring the right talent for the team and building the right combination of full-time and contract employees to scale the business. He also focused on key tech stack decisions to reuse components across categories and building modules that will be reused in different Swiggy apps. Sourabh delivered features based on a config/AB driven approach and the right set of metrics to track the stability of features and debugging issues even post-release. Sourabh has a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, iOS, Android, Mobile, Integration, QA, New Relic, Backend, Software Engineer, Test, Product Manager, and UI. With 11.71 years of relevant experience, Sourabh is a skilled engineering manager who is passionate about building scalable products and mentoring his team to achieve their goals.
