Sourabh Gupta is a highly experienced Big Data Developer with expertise in various Big Data Ecosystems such as Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Scala, Hive, Hbase, Cloudera, PostgreSQL, ETL, Snaplogic, and AWS cloud technologies. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Sourabh has developed an expert knowledge of the Airline domain. He is currently working as a Big Data Engineer at Lumiq.ai, where he plays with different types of data in his job and loves to face different challenges related to Big Data Analytics. Sourabh has previously worked at Mindtree as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. During his time at Mindtree, he was involved in Requirements gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment phases of the project life cycle. He developed key modules of the project and worked on POC for fetching JSON data from REST API service and parsing the complex JSON data into CSV file format using Spark, Scala, and storing the data into the hive table and comparing it with the other hive tables data. He also wrote complex spark-SQL scripts to fulfill the transformation & aggregations, prepared the data for processing, and defined a Data pipeline. Sourabh also attended status meetings with stakeholders and provided recommendations. He was also involved in onsite telecoms for daily status report, defect management calls, UAT support calls, and other updates of the team. Sourabh has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management.
