Sourabh Sahu is a seasoned business development professional with over 9 years of experience in the e-commerce and automotive industries. Currently, he serves as the Head of Categories & BD at glowroad.com, where he is responsible for driving growth and expansion across various categories. Prior to that, Sourabh worked at Flipkart, where he held multiple roles, including Senior Category Manager for Flipkart Fashion and Senior Manager for Supply Chain Management. During his time at Flipkart, he was instrumental in launching private label selections, increasing the branded portfolio in the marketplace, and improving catalog quality. He also played an important role in expanding the First Mile operation from 60 pickup hubs to 1,000 hubs, and was part of the core team that launched mobile and laptop exchange on Flipkart. Before joining Flipkart, Sourabh worked as a Manager for Buy-side/Purchase at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (Mercedes Benz), where he developed and managed purchase strategies for chassis and interiors parts, negotiated with vendors, and monitored supplier performance. He achieved lifetime cost savings of INR 6 Crores in Cooling module by proposing material change and various VA/VE initiatives, and generated savings of INR 1.35 Crores annually for FY’13-14 through various innovative purchasing activities and strategic sourcing activities. Sourabh holds a PGDM in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Bhilai Institute Of Technology, Durg (Chhattisgarh). He also completed his HSC in Mathematics from Central Academy, Kota (Rajasthan), and his SSC in Science from Carmel Convent English Medium School, Raigarh (C.G.). Sourabh is skilled in mobile technology and has relevant experience of 9.77 years.
