Sourav Basu is an Engineer, Architect and Solution Provider with expertise in multiple technologies. He is highly motivated to become an Open Source Developer and loves challenges of a steep learning curve. He believes that learning different technologies and algorithms can make him a better learner and developer. Sourav has a strong desire to learn different technologies, which would enable him to become a better developer. Currently, Sourav's interests lie in Python, and he likes the way code is easy to read and implement in Python. He actively follows as well as tries to contribute to open source repos. He has an idea about frameworks like Django and Flask and has a Github profile with a portfolio of his work. Sourav has worked as a Trainee in Steel Authority of India Limited, where he developed a segment of a web-based portal for employees using ASP.NET. He has also volunteered with Fedora Project to learn package managing and worked as a Software Engineer with Livquik, where he brought around certain improvements within the app. These improvements include improving the app's networking and image caching efficiency, improving functional smoothness of the app, creating a more intuitive messaging feedback within the app, and bringing out a more stable version every other week while simultaneously making the app feature-rich. Sourav has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Budge Budge Institute of Technology and completed his schooling from Burnpur Riverside School and St. Vincent's High & Technical School, Asansol. He has relevant experience of 8.69 years and has a tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering, Python, Backend, Flask, Django, and UI. Sourav is a highly motivated and skilled professional who is passionate about learning new technologies and contributing to open source projects.
