Sourav Bhattacharjee is an accomplished engineer with over 6 years of experience in software development, specializing in distributed systems, cloud computing, Rest API development, databases, and machine learning. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, where he is improving Azure SQL Database. Prior to that, he worked for Oracle Cloud and IBM Software Labs, where he was involved in designing and developing Oracle Cloud agent for the Kubernetes ecosystem, implementing and GAed Oracle Cloud Logging agent for Ubuntu, and contributed to Oracle Cloud monitoring and alarming. He was also one of the early members of the OCI Observability India team and lead OCI Logging and Monitoring India team. Sourav is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he completed his Master's degree in Information Technology in 2017. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in CSE from Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Berhampore. Sourav's work has been published in some renowned Technical Conferences, and he has 5 published patents to his credit. He has also reviewed 3 technical books for Springer.
