Sourav Ghosh is a Chief Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field of computer science. He holds an M.Tech degree in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur and has worked with TATA Consultancy Services and as a Microsoft Student Partner. He is proficient in AI, NLP, ML, and Mobile technologies and has experience in Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Web/App development, and Content Management Solutions. Sourav has published and applied for patents in the areas of lightweight language models, natural language detection and processing, semantic relations in text, and data warehousing. He has been actively involved in the On-Device AI team at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore and has contributed significantly to the Intelligent Keyboard project. He has worked on projects like Alive Intelligence, Language Detection, Foreign Word Aware Auto-Correction, sub-millisecond inference Spell Checker, and On-Device Learning Framework. He has been a founder of InspirIT, the technology club of the Department of Information Technology at his college, where he has organized and presented at technical sessions.
