Sourav Goel is a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer currently working at Microsoft. With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Sourav has gained extensive experience in the field of software engineering. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in NodeJS, Javascript, Backend, Search, and Frontend technologies. Sourav has previously worked as a Software Intern at Microsoft, where he gained valuable experience working on various projects. During his tenure as the Development Head of Coding Club at IIT Guwahati, he mentored over 150 students for over 1.5 months on an internal project of the Club comprising of Node.js as the backend. He also pitched in new and relevant project ideas during meetings. As a Software Developer Intern at Toppr, an EdTech start-up, Sourav was part of the Front-End core team of Toppr School, an online solution to e-learning and e-schooling. He contributed towards building various components, specifically working on a Library Search component that allows teachers to search any content of their choice, filter based on the class and subject they would be teaching, and add them to their lectures and also mark them as favorite. The feature is being heavily used by the consumers of Toppr School. Sourav has relevant experience of 0.78 years and has demonstrated his ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality software solutions.
