Sourav Mehra is a software engineer with a passion for front-end development. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Sourav has a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJS, NodeJS, Firebase, Python, and Git. He is constantly expanding his knowledge base and integrating new frameworks, principles, and languages into his skillset. Sourav's interest in video games has played a significant role in his career as a software developer. As a gamer, he enjoys exploring and pushing video games to their limits, uncovering any bugs that may be hiding. This habit eventually led him to start building his own software, and he found front-end development to be the perfect outlet for his passion. Sourav finds it highly satisfying to see things being built from scratch in front of him, while also being the person who's building them. Currently, Sourav is working as a Software Engineer II, Full Stack at briq, where he helps construction companies streamline their businesses. He has previously worked as a Lead Full Stack Developer and a Full Stack Developer at the same company. During his tenure, he achieved several milestones using the Vue stack, including building the UI of a workflow creation and editing tool, moving in-house spreadsheet tools from Kendo Spreadsheet to SpreadJS library, and building, maintaining, and supporting various tools for SpreadJS based workbooks such as Aggregations, Subtotals, AI Forecast, Predictive Analytics, etc. He also created endpoints in Flask-based microservices for cloning Firebase documents, sub-collections, and associated files in Google Storage buckets. Sourav holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from upes, which he completed in 2019. In his free time, he enjoys trying out and playing new video games, reading books, and unplugging from his addictive smartphone. Sourav is a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for building innovative software solutions.
